1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg
garlic powder to taste
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup crushed pineapple with juice
|
|
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well, and place into a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Boil the crushed pineapple and pineapple juice. Add cornstarch mixed with 1 TBSP of water. Simmer until thickened. Mix the pineapple sauce with the ketchup and brown sugar. Pour into a zip top baggie or separate container.
To Freeze: Freeze in freezer safe container.
To Reheat: Defrost. Cook at 350 degrees until meat is cooked through, probably about 30 minutes. Remove from oven, pour pineapple sauce over the top. Continue cooking for 20 more minutes or until done.

This is really good, just make sure you add enough pepper and garlic powder or it will be too bland.
