4 chicken breasts
1 teaspoon ground ginger
4 ounces soy sauce
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/8 cup bourbon
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
|
|
Place chicken breasts in a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a small bowl combine
the ginger, soy sauce, onion flakes, sugar, bourbon and garlic powder. Mix
together and pour mixture over chicken. Cover dish and place in
refrigerator. Marinate overnight.
To Freeze: Freeze in freezer safe container.
To Reheat: Defrost. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Bake in the preheated
oven, basting frequently, for 30-40 minutes or until chicken is well browned
and juices run clear.

Erik likes it, but I don't like the alcohol flavor with the meat.

3 Stars.
I like this one, some improvments could be made though.
Needs to have the flavour deeper it the meat.
My idea is after you grill it (or broil it), cut it up and then cook it/heat it in the left over marinade for a few min so that it coated all over.

3 stars. It was okay. I think I'd like it better with less of the bourbon and more of the other stuff in the marinade, though it was much improved from when I tried and it had way too much bourbon.
