1lb low fat cut of beef, cut into strips. Something like sirloin strips
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3/4 lb Mushrooms, sliced (if you like)
12 oz (or one can) low fat beef broth
8oz low fat sour cream or low fat plain yogurt
Corn Starch
Salt & Pepper to taste
Egg Noodles (cook when eating)
|
|
Brown the beef strips, set aside
Saute the onion.=20
Combine beef and onion in a pot, add broth and cook until beef is tender.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
To Freeze: Freeze in freezer safe container.
To Reheat: Thaw in a pot, reheat. Cook the egg noodles. When beef is ready, stir in yogurt (off the heat) and add corn starch to desired thickness. Once combines, add the noodles and heat for a few
minutes. Serve

5 stars! Very tasty, Adding a tablespoon of lemon juice to the non-fat yogurt Chris gave us makes it more like sour cream.
